Metef co-organising an event in India

On 11 and 12 November 2005 at the Leela Hotel, Mumbai, India the 2005 Extrusion Summit will be taking place. It is the second edition of an event, not held in India prior to 2004, that is able to combine communities in a constantly growing marketplace by concentrating on the only available option to promise progress - that linked to technology.
Extrusion Summit 2005 will, thus, be focussing on aluminium, bronze and copper alloy extrusion technologies and equipment, covering the entire smelter-extrusion-finishing process and exploring market potential and business opportunities in new segments.
The occasion will be particularly useful as a way of meeting and interacting with Indian decision-makers, along with those from other parts of the globe (including Europe, the Middle East and North America).
It is possible to participate at the event by booking a stand, giving a technical paper, or just taking part as a delegation.
The event organiser is Sanket Trade Fairs, a company that specialises in arranging international business initiatives, where the aim is to create significant constructive relationships amongst industry professionals. The group publishes two monthly journals: 'Metalworld', based on non-ferrous metals and 'Steelworld', which relates to the iron and steel industries and has two online B2B gateways ( and ). Through these the company seeks to encourage the exchange of information, consultancy and commerce.
The initiative's co-organiser is Metef, the international event dedicated to aluminium plant, machinery and technologies. Metef's next edition is in May 2006, and will be held near Brescia, Italy.
Extrusion Summit will, moreover, be supported by the journals belonging to Edimet - a metals-based multimedia network and organiser of Metef. The event is not new to operations of this size. A demonstration of this is the fact that Edimet and Metef, together with Trans Continental Fair Management, jointly organised the last edition of Alumex & Mem, an exhibitor event attracting the biggest names in the international aluminium industry that took place this March in Dubai. This is all part of an international vocation that is steadily growing and strengthening the event's worldwide image.
