Ring-Plunger System |
Allper, the company located in Switzerland develops and sells since 1987 on the world market the Ring-Plunger System with two patents to protect the invention.
The aluminium (Al) or magnesium (Mg) will penetrate between the ring and the plunger and therefore, no molten liquid penetrates between ring and sleeve. The adapted circular cooling channel allows to solidify the aluminium very quickly. After each injection aluminiumwill stay between ring and plunger (US Patent).

A new anode slotting machine |
T.T. Tomorrow Technology, the Italian-based engineering and manufacturing company, which specializes in design and construction of vehicles and equipment for the aluminium industry, has introduced its newly patented Anode Slotting Machine for cutting slots on different size carbon anodes.
The machine also offers a wide flexibility in slot depths and shapes as well as a long blades life.

Aluminium, food, reliability |
Representatives of the scientific, political, academic and institutional world gathered last October 1st in Milan on the occasion of the convention ‘AAA, Alluminio, Alimenti, Affidabilità’ (Aluminium, Food, Reliability), organized by ‘Aluminium for Future Generations’ for CentroAl (Italian Centre for Aluminium) and sponsored by the town councillorship of Health of the Municipality of Milan. The event, aiming to communicate the quality of aluminium for what concerns its applications in contact with food on the Italian market, reserved large space to the promotion of the Decree No 76 dated 18th April, 2007 (‘Rule about the hygienic control of aluminium and aluminium alloy objects and materials destined to come into contact with food’).
